FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I register online?
Most definiely....registration will open about two months before the event and close at 5pm the night before the expo.
Why register online?
Registering online has many advantages:
You will have a better chance of getting into your desired class.
You will know your class time, location of class, and know what to bring for each class you signed up for.
You will receive a confirmation of classes you are registered for.
Can you sign up for classes at the expo? Yes, however some classes will not be available. Class size is limited due to the instruction and product you will receive in each class. For the best selection of classes, The Original Srapbook USA team encourages you to register online.
Do I have to pay the entrance fee if I am just going to take classes?
Yes, classes are viewed as part of the expo as an added bonus. Due to how the expo center is set up, the classes are on the outside of the expo for convenience and for more one on one instruction-however, they are still part of the expo experience. You must be wearing your wrist band before you enter any class.
Is the cost of the expo included in the cost of the class?
No, you need to purchase a wrist band when you arrive at the expo before you can enter any class.
Will there be tables to scrapbook available all day?
We have over 500 tables set up for scrapbooking and most often this is plenty, but there are times when they do fill up. Please keep in mind that the tables are on a first come first serve basis.
Can children come to the classes and participate?
Children over the age of ten are welcome to come and participate in the classs if they are a registered member of the class. Children under the age of ten will not be permitted in the classes unless they are infants (not yet walking). These children do need to be be in a carrier or sit on mom's lap for the duration of the class. Due to limited space in the class, we ask you do not bring a stroller into the classroom. Also, we ask that if the baby becomes fussy, that you please leave the class immediately as to be respectful of other class participants and the teacher. Please be considerate of others.
Can you come to the expo and purchase product?
Most definetely! The vendors are there for exactly that. Many partrons come to just shop and do not take any classes. Others come and scrapbook at the tables provided. Still others do a combination of things. It is up to you and what you are in the mood to do. Shop, look, learn, crop, visit! Entrance to the expo is $12 unless you pick up a discount ticket (available at participation scrapbook stores) then it is $9. Included in the entrance price is the crop on Friday night that goes until midnight.
Can I bring food into the expo?
Unfortunately not. The convention center policy is that they do not allow outside food into their facilities. They have concession stands open during Event hours for your convenience.
Are vendors open to shop during the midnight crop?
Yes, most all of the vendors are open for purchasing product during the midnight crop. There are a handful of vendors that do choose to close down a little early. (around 10:00pm)
Is there an additional charge to participate in the midnight crop?
No, the midnight crop is included in the friday admission price.
What is the class cancellation policy?
There are no refunds for purchasing classes. You can purchase classes online or at the event. If you are unable to attend the class you can pick up your kit at the show. If you don't pick up your kit at the show it will be forfeited as we are unable to mail it to you.
If someone does not show up for their class, can I pay at the door and take their spot?
No, as a courtesy to our patrons, we will not allow someone to take a spot in a class. There is always the possibility that someone will show up late for the class. However, you can register for classes that have openings at the show. If you have paid to attend the class, the space is your and will not be used or filled by someone else.
